Terms & Conditions

Effective date: October 3, 2026

In plain terms: Intera People Co provides psychoeducation—educational seminars, workshops, and content intended to improve self-understanding and psychological awareness. It is not therapy, counseling, or any form of clinical or medical treatment, and using our services does not create a therapist-client or any other clinical relationship. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. If you are struggling or believe you may benefit from professional mental health support, we encourage you to seek care from a licensed therapist or other qualified provider.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Intera People Co website, and your participation in any seminar, workshop, course, or other program (collectively, the “Services”) offered by Intera People Co (“Intera,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, registering for an event, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Nature of Our Services

Intera People Co is a psychoeducation practice. Our Services are educational in nature and are designed to help participants develop psychological insight and awareness—understanding patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior in themselves and in the groups and communities to which they belong.

Our Services are not therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, psychological treatment, medical treatment, or any other form of clinical care. No therapist-client, doctor-patient, or other clinical or fiduciary relationship is created between you and Intera, or between you and Chandra Rai, by your participation in our Services, regardless of Chandra Rai’s training or licensure as a psychoanalyst. Our Services do not involve diagnosis, treatment, or the provision of mental health care of any kind.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States), or go to your nearest emergency room.

3. Your Responsibility; Encouragement to Seek Professional Care

You are solely responsible for your own decisions, actions, and conduct, both during and after participation in our Services, and for any consequences that result from them. Participation in our Services, including any reflection, discussion, or insight that may arise from it, does not substitute for individualized care from a licensed mental health professional.

We encourage anyone who is experiencing significant emotional distress, who is considering major life decisions, or who may benefit from individualized clinical support to seek out a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or other appropriate healthcare provider. Nothing in our Services should be understood as discouraging you from seeking such care, and nothing we say should be relied upon as a substitute for it.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not guarantee any particular outcome, insight, or result from participation in our Services. Individual experiences vary, and any examples, testimonials, or descriptions of past participants’ experiences are not a promise or guarantee of what you will experience.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intera People Co, Chandra Rai, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of any kind, arising out of or in connection with your participation in our Services or any actions you take, or decline to take, as a result of that participation. This includes, without limitation, any actions taken by you or by any other participant during or after a seminar, workshop, or other program.

You participate in our Services voluntarily and at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

6. Registration, Fees, and Cancellations

Registration for paid events is generally processed through our third-party ticketing provider, Luma. By registering for an event, you also agree to that provider’s applicable terms. Fees, if any, are as stated at the time of registration. Unless otherwise stated at the time of registration, fees are non-refundable; if you are unable to attend an event you have registered for, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

7. Confidentiality and Group Settings

Some of our Services involve group discussion. While we encourage all participants to treat what is shared by others as confidential, we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of anything shared in a group setting by other participants, and we are not responsible for any disclosure made by a participant other than ourselves.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided as part of our Services—including written materials, presentations, recordings, and website content—is the property of Intera People Co or its licensors, and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of our Services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
